Maxi Dresses: Summer 2011

Okay! Maxi dresses are truly in style despite what I may have believed beforehand. I've seen so many women, of all ages walking the streets in their new maxi dress. I initially thought that they were only fashionable for pregnant ladies, but I was wrong. Here are some popular maxi dresses that are in now, for summer 2011.

Warm up a Summer Dress

Today, I really wanted to wear this black floral H&M dress I bought last summer. The sun is so bright and shiny today [I CAN'T WAIT TIL SPRING]! But when I opened my slider door to let in some fresh air, a pretty chilly 40 degrees rush of air hit me. Yes, it's a big improvement in our current Michigan weather but it's still not really warm yet. So instead of pushing my dress further back into my closet I decided to layer an old sweater I rarely wear underneath it. And it turned out just great!
