Maternity Fashion Advice for Summer

In order to be comfortable through all the heat and humidity, I wear dresses. It's that simple. This way my stomach and legs are not so restricted by tight clothing and I can move around, feeling somewhat cooler. To make dresses work appropriate, [as seen in my outfit today below] I added a lace cardigan to hide spaghetti straps and a white pair of cut off leggings to add length. When choosing a dress, be sure that if there's an elastic waste band, it's placed right beneath your chest. This should make it fit perfectly. I noticed that my some of my dresses are pulled up really short because of my big belly, so watch out for that. Oh and maxi dresses are super comfy too!
FYI: I just wear regular dress sizes; I don't bother with maternity dresses.

Studded Christian Louboutin Pumps

Aren't these pumps totally you? Which one will you add to your million dollar shoe collection?? :) The only pair I can picture myself wearing are the nude, studded, peep toe, slingback pumps on the bottom left corner.  Otherwise, they are all just definitely unique and worth looking at!

The Infamous Christian Louboutin

Is the CARGO style back In?

You know the style I'm talking about. Baggy pants, shorts, or capris with large pockets attached to each leg. I have never been a huge fan of this look but it seems that they may be coming back in. I was told to start buying used cargo pants that were made within the past year for Plato's Closet merchandise. [I was horrified...] But as it turns out, there are actually some of these trending in fashionable retail shops. The new definition has changed from baggy to skinny pants with large double pockets.

Here is a pair from Forever 21.

A tight, fitted pair from Nordstrom

A pair by Neiman Marcus

A pair by Ralph Lauren

A pair by Marc Jacobs

And another pair by Joie Beverly

Do you think this trend will catch eyes, or simply fall behind like so many do? I don't mind the cargo style if the pants are skinny. But Loose & Baggy Cargo= Hiking Fashion Magazine. Not so much for the glamorous runway spotlight.
